Calendar information

Listings draw on public organizer and venue announcements. We keep event details, source links and the date each source was checked. We do not collect attendee identities or build profiles of people attending events.

Your browser preferences

Your light or dark appearance choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. You can remove it by clearing this site’s browser data. Selected dates, dance styles and search terms appear in the page URL so you can share a view; anyone you share that link with can see those selections.

Hosting and directions

Cloudflare hosts this website and processes request information, such as IP addresses, requested URLs and browser information, to deliver and protect the site. Technical logs may be used to investigate errors. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Directions links open Google Maps. Dance Radar does not request your device’s location. The decorative Virginia lights are drawn locally from public venue locations.

Supporting Dance Radar

Support links open PayPal’s donation page for John Tran, who operates Dance Radar. PayPal processes the payment under its own privacy policy. Dance Radar does not collect card details or require a payment to use the calendar.

Calendars on other websites

Other websites can embed our calendar and event lists. Loading an embed requests content from Dance Radar’s Cloudflare hosting, just like visiting this site. The optional sizing script exchanges the embed’s height with the containing page. Embeds do not load advertising scripts or request your location.

Advertising

Google advertising is not currently active on Dance Radar. We are preparing the site for AdSense review.

If Google ads are enabled, Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies and similar technologies to show and measure ads. Advertising cookies can personalize ads based on visits to this and other websites. Available consent choices will be presented where required before advertising is activated.

You can manage Google ad personalization in My Ad Center and find participating vendors’ opt-out choices at YourAdChoices. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Direct sponsor placements, when present, are labeled Sponsored. Following a sponsor link takes you to that sponsor’s website and its privacy practices.

Links to other websites

Organizer listings, directions and other external links open services with their own privacy policies. This includes Facebook, Instagram and Google Maps.
